A former teammate had told Madison to follow a few Midwest girls on Instagram because they moved to the city for fashion. She followed them but never met them in person. One day she saw Tanner on one of their stories and instantly thought he was cute. She followed him, and they started messaging. They went on a date five days later, and everything kept unfolding from there!

As summer was coming to an end, Gull Lake revealed itself as a captivating setting for an incredibly romantic proposal. On a late summer afternoon, Henry decided to take his love Emily on an adventure! An adventure that would forever change their lives!

Henry and Emily share a special bond together that’s truly heart warming!

The way their eyes sparkle when they look at one another is simply undeniable!

Henry and Emily boarded the vintage wooden boat and road out into the calm waters of Gull Lake. They were surrounded by lush greenery and the sunlight illuminating their faces. There was a strong feeling of peace and connection. As they cruised the lake together their smiles and laughter filled the air. It was a true reflection of their shared happiness and excitement!

After finding a quiet and secluded cove, Henry brought the boat to a stop, carefully stood up to kneel and asked the BIG question, “Will you marry me?!”. Overwhelmed with joy, Emily’s eyes filled with tears as she nodded enthusiastically! She went in for a big hug and said, “YES!”

Everyone in happy tears after the sight of this, they were able to soak in this special moment together and we were able to get a few portraits to cherish this memory for a life time. Hearts soaring, Henry and Emily made their way back to the dock. This is where Emily learned Henry had one more surprise for her!

Henry had organized a surprise engagement celebration with their closest friends and family! Everyone was waiting at the house and greeted them with excitement, warm hugs and joyful congratulations! Emily was surprised and her heart swelled with love as she took in the smiling faces of those who mattered most to her.

Friends and family gathered, love radiating all around. Raising their glasses to toast the couple and sharing in the joy of their love story that was just beginning.

Their engagement at Gull Lake was truly the definition of a breathtaking and romantic proposal!
